I'm leaving for a summer in Paris in Six Days! Some of you (very brave souls) have asked to be updated about my travels and travails and so I don't have too many facebook posts and bore those who know better, I thought I would write a blog. Follow at your own peril :-)
This time next week, Jai, my pup (otherwise known as my six year old lab mix - or the love of my life) will just be settling into our apartment in Paris. We'll be in the Marais - known as the SoHo of Paris - in the 3rd arondissement on the Right Bank of the Seine. Come Visit!
At the moment, my condo looks like a tornado has come through and my place was the eye. My main issue is how many pairs of shoes to take. I've been told that 14 pairs is definitely too many and that I should get by on 6 - I've agreed that ten or less is may goal. I also have to clear this place out so that the guy subletting my place can actually live here. Other than that, I'm trying not to worry about the fact that I don't speak a lot of French and my apartment is on the 4th floor and has no elevators. Vive La France!
